Originally designed in 1957 by legendary residential architect Alan McCullough, this home was masterfully renovated in 2020 under the careful guidance of RIC Design Build, who worked with the new owners to breathe new life into this mid-century gem.
Featuring an open floor plan, striking geometry, and low profiles, the renovation focused on preserving the unique architectural features typical of McCullough-designed homes, including terrazzo floors and raised fireplaces with levitating hearths.
Outside, landscape design by meddō includes well-adapted cacti and tropicals, anchored by native shrubs and trees. To address the steep grade along the foundation, the slope was terraced with weathering steel walls and filled with crushed gravel beds.
