Located in the heart of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, this sophisticated custom home offers a unique twist on the classic country retreat.

Completed in 2022 by acclaimed design-build firm GreenSpur, Hayes Construction Corporation, and landscape architecture firm Bradley Site Design, this captivating rustic home site takes life in the great outdoors to new heights with clever design and playful details.

Located on a heavily wooded 100 acre parcel, the home site is anchored by a central communal lodge and courtyard, which flanked by four cabin residences.

The lodge features black siding and a gable roof to help the structure blend with the surrounding farm vernacular of the nearby Shenandoah Valley. Inside, a full height glass wall greets guests and residents alike, providing views of the communal courtyard, where a fire pit, dining, and lounge area encourage gathering throughout the day

Flanking the lodge are a series of cabins. Inspired by canvas wall tents traditionally seen at American summer camps, each cabin contains 240 square feet of interior living space and include cozy living areas with wood-burning stoves, reading nooks, sleeping lofts with an operable skylight for stargazing at night, and a front porch with a cantilevered roof for informal interactions.
